Do You Know What To Daydream About?

You’ve all heard me say it…..Dream big. Dream often!
Do you daydream? No, I don’t mean two seconds of wishing while you are at the stoplight. I mean vivid, techno-color daydreams. Picturing the life you want or the outcome of a meeting or the purpose of a relationship in so much detail you can actually feel it in your bones.

When I ask people that I usually get one of two responses:

Response one goes something like this…….I want to but I don’t know what to daydream about. I feel like I’ve lost track with who I am and my purpose in life. If I had that I would definitely use the power of daydreaming to get it.

Response two goes something like this…..I loooovvveeee daydreaming. I do it all the time. It’s my favorite planning tool.

Well, if you are closer to response number two I say two thumbs up. You clearly know where you are headed. If however you are closer to response number one, I have a solution for getting you back on the right track. It’s my 6 week e-course that takes you on a journey from blue skies ideas to defining with clarity your life passions and vision. Once you have that the skies not even the limit.

Let me ask you in another way. Let me know if any of these statements apply to how you feel about your life.

1. Irritated because it feels like your wheels are spinning in the mud and you ain’t movin.
2. Bored and tuned-out because day to day life is uninspiring and feels like one big to-do list
3. Frustrated because you know you were meant to do something amazing but you aren’t sure what that thing is
4. Antsy and ready to take your life to the next level but need a little guidance before you take the big leap
5. Annoyed because you know you have that right brain genius hiding inside of you but you don’t know how to harness its power for everyday life.

If any of these hit close to home, and before you even think about signing up, take a minute and write down all things in your life that are causing you to feel like that and learn from that list.

Here’s an outline of what to do:

1) Write down all the reasons you feel like the statements above represent your life
2) Find the patterns (for example, procrastinate, let your fears get the best of you, worry, etc)
3) Write down one thing you will do to move forward with your life (say yes to the next challenge, wake up early to go for a walk, etc)
