Tamara! Fantastic space! It is so YOU. I'm sure your personal office will be as funky, creative and special as you are. I'm thinking big overstuffed furniture (if you have space), bright colors and mirrors or stained glass. Wind chimes! A pair of bongos! Best to you as you launch your imagination emporium. Thanks for including us in your fun.

Tamara:So much enjoyed meeting with you and chatting with you today at CFU, the Unjob Fair. When you have the opportunity, please do send me the way to follow the companies you mentioned today in your presentation during the question and answer period. I love the fact that people are running successful entreprenurial ventures while “breaking all the rules”. What an exciting future we have as new business owners and support and confirmation for each other.Good Business! Thanks, Ruth Owen

Love those file folders. I'm going to pick out a few favorite files and go to town. I love the way you include your kids in these projects, like the glasses. You've inspired me.

I LOVE this post, Tamara! I feel the same way. When I first started my business I read book after book and got bored, overwhelmed, exhausted, frustrated but I didn't get inspired. I get inspired and confident when I talk to other entrepreneurs and when I ask them questions face-to-face instead of spending hours looking for the answer online or in a book. I find most people rely on these books when they get scared. I know I have. But when you get scared you can't hide in a book. You need to get out there and face your fear in order to grow.

I love to read books but I only choose "business-type" books that are very open-ended and allow for you to find your own voice. One of my favorite "business" books in Renaissance Soul. It's how to find joy and success when you have too many passions to pick just one. It's not really a business book per se, but it helped me to clear my thoughts and remember to be myself while trying to grow my business.

My advice is to not put too much stock in books that claim to teach you the way they made millions. Their path is probably not going to be for you. Read with caution and take bits from these books but think very critically and creatively on how that bit fits in your entrepreneurial path.

It was an honor to meet you and all the other unjobbers. Such wonderful dreams and potential in the room. I loved hearing about all the ideas that bubbled up during out session. Dream big. Imagine often!
